Elizabeth Clement Contemporary would like to congratulate Deborah Winiarski on her inclusion in the group exhibition Patterns of Influence which runs from July 16th to August 10th, 2019, at The Painting Center in New York, New York. Winiarski's dynamic, mixed-media relief paintings combine fabric, painting, drawing, encaustic, and printmaking to create work rich in textural juxtapositions. Featured above, as the exhibition catalogue image, is a detail from Winiarski's Lines Written III. Winiarski is one of forty-four artists whose work is included in Patterns of Influence. In addition to making their own work, each of the artists in the show also teaches art, bringing art-making to a variety of sectors from pre-schools and universities to prisons and community centers.
